Hayley Williams Hair

I have planned to dye my hair like Hayley Williams for some time, and I finally did it... It's not exactly like Hayleys, but it's inspired by her...

By the way... This time I also cut my own hair... I think it looks great :D

OMG LOE (oh my god, lack of eyeliner) ;)

The sky above Middelfart railway station

It was the day I bought my new laptop and my mon gave me my exam-present a bit early (my iPhone) and I was on my way back to my boarding school/my home... It was late and the sky was beautiful, so I took a picture :D

I love taking pictures of the sun and of sunsets ;)

Short review of my holiday :/

I have been a bit busy this holyday, so I haven't had much time to blog... sorry. I have used a lot of my time packing all my stuff so I'm ready to move, I have still had time to relax and have fun... I have been visiting one of my friends from the boarding-school, I have been to a backyard-party with some of my other friends from the borading-school, and I have of course had time to see my family from California. They visit us here in Denmark every year in the north of Jutland in a town called Blokhus. It was my purpose that I would stay there for 3 days, but instead I also went with them to my capital Copenhagen. We stayed at Hotel Hilton and went to Tivoli. It was a really luxury trip... Here by the end am I still packing and I have also bleached my hair a bit so it's ready to get dyed, I'm this time inspired by Hayley Williams ;D I'm already starting in school again aug. 8th... so I'll just enjoy the rest and look forward to see my new school :)

Moving on...

I have just ended my boarding-school-year and I'm already moving on... Right now it's summer holiday, but when it ends, I'm having my own place. I'm going to study on a "small" island and it's far away from where I am now, so... I'm a looking so much forward to it, but right now I'm burried in moving boxes and a messed up room that's ready to be packed down in moving boxes :D

- Sailor school, here I come...

Festival

I have just been on a 2 days festival. Friday and saturday. With good danish bands like "A friend in London", "L.O.C.", "Nabiha", "Lucas Graham", "The Blue Van" etc.

½ marathon

Yesterday I was running a half marathon (21,1 km.) in Haderslev in the southern Denmark. I had trained a bit up to it, but I think I will train more to next year. My time was 2 hours 51 minuttes and 37 seconds. I was running with my roomie Ida, and we had a fantastic support from my mom, dad and sister, who were out on the route clapping of us and giving us candy when we had run about 16 km. My bag and hip still hurt a bit, but it's a good feeling to have after running 21,1 km. :D

Ape ôf Neptune

I've just been to a fantastic concert on my school with Ape ôf Neptune. I've never heard of them before and that a shame because they rock. I will definitely begin to some of their music.

My outdoor fish are back again

I have had my 23 fish in our basement at home, for the autumn, winter and some of the spring. They have now been out for a few weeks, but I finally had time this weekend to see them. Even though it’s only fish, they still make me happy when I look at them, and see how they swim. The weather was a bonus. We have had a really nice weather for some time in Denmark and I hope it has come to stay J

Second last time in outdoor recreation

Monday last week, we had our second last time in outdoor recreation, so we were climbing trees. In the beginning we were talking about spiders and bugs so I got a bit paranoid about bug. I thought I saw bugs everywhere (well, I saw a few… but hello, we were in a wood). I found a tree I liked with no branches on (equals no bugs… except flying bugs and snails and bug who could climb trees… but anyway I didn’t think of that) so I asked my teacher if there was a way I could climb the tree even though it didn’t have branches. He told me a way to climb it, but he also told that the tree was too thin to climb, so I had to find another. I found another tree (it was about a meter away… right next to my first tree). I climbed about three meters up in it, but then I saw a snail on the trunk, so I couldn’t move higher. I was sitting there shifting sitting in my climbing harness and sitting on my feet. I sat there between 30 minutes and an hour (I didn’t have a watch with me). Then I after some time got tired in my leg I climbed down and bicycled back to the school.

Outdoor recreation trip

In outdoor recreation, we decided to make a trip to a beach and make a bonfire and sleep in tents. We have planned to do it for some time, and “now” was the right time. The warm weather was finally coming to Denmark.
Monday the 23th of April at 16:30 we went by bikes to the beach (Gamborg Fjord…A little place in Denmark). We camped on a little “spot” of grass be the beach. I made a bonfire and the other made food. We were supposed to have wok, but there were to mush curry in the vegetable-thing, so we ended eating noodles and chicken with ketchup and marinade. It actually tasted pretty good. For dessert we made pancakes… yum yum yum. Later we were lying around the bonfire roasting marshmallows and eating chips and candy while reading funny thing from a magazine. Some were telling funny and embarrassing things they or their friends have experienced. Then the stars started to show up in the sky. We were lying for some time around the bonfire looking at stars and trying to find some constellations.
When it got later we decided to go to sleep because we had to wake up early the next day. We were sleeping 8 girls in a big “tent” (I was not exactly a tent it was more like a tippy). The two boys were sleeping in another tent, and our teacher was sleeping by himself on the beach.
I was definitely not the first… or the second… and probably not the third to fall asleep. I could hear some of the other snoring for some time, before I fell asleep. I woke up a several time during the night. At 6 o’clock we all woke up and walked up out the tent to sit around the bonfire. It was really cold. We made some pancakes and porridge for breakfast. The first plan was that we should go for a morning swim in the sea, but it was just so cold. After some time we decided to do it anyway (not all of us, but I did). It was really really cold. So we just took a quick dip, and ran back to the bonfire, to get the warmth. When we all were warm enough, we did it again. When we had the warmth, we packed up all our stuff and bicycled back to the school. I had a quick but warm shower, and went to “school”. I was so tired so I fell asleep a few times during the day and my teacher made me walk around the school.
It was a nice trip but I don’t think I would do it again.

Rugby game – European Nations Cup

Saturday the 21st of April our teacher Marie took us to see a Rugby game between Denmark and Austria. It was the European Nations Cup. We went to Odense Athletic Stadium by bus. Some of the students were painted in their heads in red and white colors (I wasn’t). It was so much more violence than I thought. They were making piles of players all the time, and sometimes they were just fighting with each other and not for the games sake (it’s first I’ve seen rugby). Even though I didn’t understand much of the game, it was funny enough to see. We (Denmark) won 28-22 against Austria J

Danish championship in drawing

In the morning Wednesday the 18th of April we went, after breakfast, by train to Horsens (a city in Jutland). We were going to battle against some other schools in a few different drawing disciplines. There were only two other schools.
We started in a workshop where we had to make spatialities out of triangles. And then make our spatialities of triangles out of foamcore/foamboard. It was actually fun. Then we all walked into another room there we had to battle. My discipline was surface tension. It is about how you place your drawings on the paper. When we had finished a battle we were rated with points. The best got 3 points, the second best got 2 points and the last got 1 point. We got 1 point the most of the times except Nathalie who got 2 points and I got 3 J. We ended on a 3rd place, but the most of still had the good mood on. When we walked away, we saw that a lot of children had been drawing on our spatialities, and it turned out really fine.
On the way back, our teacher Charlotte bought ice cream for us. I’m a bit pound of myself.

Contact-group meeting with toothpaste

Monday the 16th of April we had (as always) a contact-group meeting. Suddenly (I don’t remember why) we began to talk about how some toothpaste always comes out of the tube in stripes. We talked about a few theories and decided to make a test and see if it was lying in stripes in the tube. My “neighbor” Mathias offered his toothpaste (which was in stripes). We opened it and it was almost smashed together. Pernille (my roomie) had afterwards a lot of fun with the toothpaste.
What a fun meeting :D
but our room smelled terrible afterward...

Red fringe

As you maybe know, I tried to color my fringe pink, but the color didn't last for long time... So now i painted it red... It turned out pretty good

Easter Holiday

Yesterday all the parent of the students at the school came, and we told them about our trips to the rest of Europe (I was in France... Some was in Italy, Spain, Sicily, and Greece). Sadly (for my sake) we now have to go home for 5 days. I have only been home one day, and I miss the school so much. I haven't been doing anything today (I haven't done that for a pretty long time)... I just hope the next days will go faster...

Oh, and I have been up in the top of the Eiffeltower :D (I will sometime post my full trip to France. My plan was to do it in my holiday, but I forgot my diary at the school, and I'm not good at remembering everything)

A time in the middle of the day I saw a place where it said that there was 27 degrees celcius. When I come home I will log the hole trip on my blog...

Ultimate Swing

In outdoor recreation (a subject I chose to have for a half year) we built a gigant swing.
Between two trees we tied up a rope, and we were secured in the middle of the rope...

... then we were pulled up in a third tree by another rope. When we were close to the tree, we scould let go of the rope...

... and then we swung back and forth... some of us did it like a normal swing, some of us did it like a superhero (where they were tied to the rope on their backs)...

... some also did it upside-down...

... some great hours with some great people.

Summer... well, spring... but still summer :)

We finally got the nice warm spring weather here in Denmark. (we also got some last week) Just walking outside with the sunshine in my face. Earlier today Pernille and I, tried to have our face in the sun without reaching a shadow (we were walking down the street). This is the time where it's really nice to be on a boarding school.

Wednesday I'm flying to France... I hope they have a nice sunny weather there... :D

Water disguised as Red Bull

First to be said, energy driks are not allowed on my school...

I have a Red Bull bottle I found in Germany on my trip to Austria (I have never seen Red Bull in bottles) so I kept it, so I could use it at my waterbottle (we have a cold water fountain on my school, so we can get cold water). Every time a teacher comes into our room, they ask who is drinking Red Bull.
Then Kristoffer (one of my best friends of all time) made up a pretty genius line... Water disguised af Red Bull :D

Cambridge Oral Assessment

It's a nice feeling to have completed the Cambridge Oral Assessment yesterday, 'cause all the student on the school have it tuesday and wednesday (I had tuestay/yesterday) and when they talk about how nervous they are I can just say that it's not that bad (well, I was pretty nervous because I tests, but it wasn't that bad)...
Wierd enough is it, that I can't remember much from my turn (I remember a bit but not much), I just remember I had something about human rights... a pretty good topic.

Pigeon... squirrel...

When we were eating yesterday evening, there were like 10 pigeons outside the window.
Me: They are so cute, like squirrels... just with wings... :D
Kristoffer: Like flying squirrels ??!
Me: yeah.. :)
Pretty wierd conversation

Pink fringe

Yesterday i got my pink haircolor, so in the studyhour my roomie Lærke helped me dye my fringe pink. It's pretty awesome (I think it's pretty awesome) but I think I'll dye it again, because the color looks a bit weak.

I'll post a picture soon.

My school

I have been on this school since august, and it's my 9th schoolyear. Lærke, Pernille and Ida are in 10th grade. On our school our classes have colors instead of numbers. I'm in green class, Lærke is in blue, Perille is in yellow and Ida is in white.
Purple and green are 9th grade classes and white, black, yellow and blue are 10th grade classes. The school is called Eisbjerghus Efterskole (Eisbjerghus Boardingschool). It's a kind of a international school where we have exchange. I have a exchange student in Dreux, France. I'm soon gonna visit her, and I'm really looking forward to it. She was here with me in december.

My roomies

So this is my roommies. The girl to the left is Lærke, then me, Pernille and the girl to the right is Ida.
This is a picure from our christmas galla at the school.
I live on a Danish kind of boarding school, where we live (sleep and go to school etc.) and in the weekend we can choose to stay at the school or go home.
Lærke is our fashion girl and kind of the mom of our room. If you need someone to talk to, you can always talk to her.
Pernille is the one who just say tings as they are. If there's something wrong she tells you. She is not afraid share her opinion about things.
Ida is the mysterious girl. She does say much when we all are in the room, but when you are alone with her and have a conversation, she is really nice.

First time didn't go well (it got way too short). But this time it went perfect :D
Now it's ready, so i can color it in the weekend (if my pink haircolor gets here in time). I also bought something to bleach my hair with today with my roomie Ida :D

Welcome to my life

So... I got my new blog :D
...emm, I'm from Denmark but i chose to make this blog in english, because I want it to be kind of "world wide".
I made it because I sometimes feels like I'm a bit different than others, and I'm sometimes pretty random, so I'll use it to write and post some of my crazy, random and sometimes pretty awesome thoughts and ideas ;)
... welcome to my life
